My heart is always touched by the generosity of others who come and feed our neighbors in need. I believe that when you feed the body you touch their soul and that they know others care about them and that they are not alone
South County Compassion Center- staff member
It makes me happy and feel loved from a stranger when community members bring home cooked meals because it reminds me that people “out there” do care about the homeless and that beyond how good the food may taste, the group helps deliver a nutritious meal
Meal recipient
Cooking and serving a meal to the disadvantaged folks in our community invoked compassion, humility and gratitude. Watching someone eat your meal with so much satiation brought a smile of contentment

It was a wonderful experience and I was really touched by the way the Centre works daily and our COG team distributed the work in no time for serving food and bringing a smile on their face. Really hope we continue this practice
